I have made the some view masks and silhouettes for you to try out the patterns. The silhouettes are on the bottom of the page. You can also view how they would look on these objects after clicking on the design.

This pattern takes its inspiration from Ottoman geometrical patterns, however no pattern such as this existed. If this design would have existed it would possibly appear on 16th century Iznik tiles. Updated: 2008-08-22 04:05:07

Although the pattern seems to take its inspirations from the medallion type patterns that can be seen in many cultures from celts to arabic, this one indeed focuses on the tulips, combines several geometrical flowers and circles to form. Updated: 2008-08-26 19:33:53

This particular pattern is a geometric flower created by the combination of five different sets of geometric flower-type graphs. Although the geometry has been Ottoman tradition, the floral design of this pattern makes it a part of Chinese family. Updated: 2008-08-26 18:52:35

We actualy included some black-white variations so that you can modify the colors your self for use in your own personal web pages, however Limitations apply; you cannot distribute the patterns at your web page or any other medium. linking to this pages would be very welcome.

Commercial Use
For web backgrounds, the cost is 29$ per pattern or a link to this page, and it costs 270$ for prints or any other media for just one color combination only, even if I sell the patterns I will still exhibiting the patterns here at this page, but I will include a notice and link to your product, Esclusive use agreements for a design family can be done for a bargain price so that only your company uses it, also you can always bargain for multiple orders. Any commercial entities, including charities need to pay for using the designs. You will also recieve vector source editable in Adobe™ Fireworks CS 3+.


Original Designs
Most designs exhibited here are original work of the respective designer. All the copyrights apply on these designs, you cannot even take and change the colors, the shape is the designers creation. You cannot print or distribute these designs unless you have a license or written permission of the designers. For personal use only, without any profit etc, yes you can take the design and modify it, but still you cannot re-distribute it.

Historical Designs
Some of the designs here are on the other hand, are adapted from ancient drawings or based on historical resources. You might suggest that the copyrights for the shapes do not apply, however the copyrights still apply; the size of the design, the coloring, the thickness of the lines are part of the design and the designer still holds total copyright to these patterns. You cannot print or distribute these designs unless you have a license or written permission of the designers. If you like you can, as the designer did, travel to the places where the designs existed, take photographs, visit the museums, and re-draw it on your own, in this case copyrights will be yours. Good luck on your journey, as it takes five years to have such a collection. But we still encourage you to do so.
